This weekend is that time of the year when all the doors of mysterious buildings unlock themselves. It is also time to have answers to some of the most frequently wondered questions: 'What is behind this wall/door?' 'Do you think there is a garden?' 'I wonder who lives here!?'... The European Heritage Days are here for that. This Saturday and Sunday, you will be able to visit all the wonderful places usually closed to the public. Just to name a few in our neighborhood:
Hotel de Matignon (the Prime Minister's residence), the ministries of Agriculture, Parliamentary relations or of territory and urbanisation will be open to visit freely or they will also organise special activities and tours.
You will also be able to enter the gorgeous residence of the Russian Ambassador, go through the invalides on a historical tour, or even visit churches and other old religious sites around the neighborhood.
The whole program is available directly on the official website.
