Estonia, Lithuania and Letonia are culturally and historically rich countries. To celebrate the century of their independance, Orsay Museum in partnership with the national museum of each country, has created a unique exhibition putting forward the symbolism present in artists of the past century that gave birth to a very distinct modern painting movement.
About 50 masterpieces will form this exhibition. Each of the painting with a specific meaning represented through the symbols of the local folklore, popular culture but also the old legends. A unique event showcasing european culture that will be ideal to discover a lesser known, original and singular artistic heritage.
On top of the activities for children and families, the museum has organized several evening of concerts during the time of the exhibition. Along with several of his visual pieces, you will also be able to discover Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis music with the presence of the Estonian philharmonic bedroom choir.
