100 Years of Art Deco in Paris: A Century of Elegance, Modernity, and Celebration
In 2025-2026, Paris has become the center of a remarkable tribute to the Art Deco style, marking the centenary of the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts held in Paris in 1925. This movement, characterized by its geometric forms, bold materials, and taste for refined luxury, continues to inspire design, architecture, and the decorative arts.
The french capital invites art lovers, curious minds, and design and heritage enthusiasts to discover a series of major, immersive, and festive exhibitions in late 2025 and early 2026.
• From September 26 to November 30, 2025: Louis Vuitton Art Deco at LV Dream, which reveals the links between the famous Maison and the Art Deco movement.
• From October 22, 2025 to March 29, 2026: Paris 1925: Art Deco and its Architects at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, focusing on the architecture and urban planning of the period.
• From October 22, 2025 to April 26, 2026: 1925-2025, One Hundred Years of Art Deco at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, a dive into the founding 1925 exhibition and its legacy.
• From November 4, 2025 to February 28, 2026: The Art Studios of Department Stores: Art Deco window displays at the Forney Library, presentation of the art studios of four Parisian department stores
• From November 15, 2025 to April 12, 2026: Zadkine and Art Deco at the Zadkine Museum, a dialogue between the sculptor's work and the artistic movement
